The firm's principal, Harrison "Whitey" Jenkins, has received numerous design awards, including from: The City of Hartford Police Department; the Connecticut Art Directors Club; the Hartford Architecture Conservancy for historic renovation design; a Schwartz Award for the best use of Humanities money in the United States; and is a Kodak National Grand Prize winner for best use of photography.

Mr. Jenkins has also curated over 400 fine art and historical exhibits and has consulted on many citywide wayfinding and visitor enhancement projects. He has taught design, drawing and sculpture at the university level and is a past board member and co-commissioner of the Hartford Downtown Council. He is currently serving as the Enhancement Coordinator for the Athletics Department at the University of Connecticut.
